ConeZilla Board Game Redesign
FoxMind Games, a Montreal-based toy and board game company, was looking to refresh ConeZilla, an older game for children that was no longer selling as it used to. I decided that the game would benefit from all new artwork for the box and the ice cream cone and flavour scoop pieces. To capitalize on the theme of building towering ice cream cones, I decided to use an unusually tall narrow box that highlighted this as well as standing out on the shelf compared to other more typically sized products.
Working with the talented illustrator and designer, Ana Solera, I created the new ConeZilla packaging, and refined the logo design and game pieces. The new ConeZilla now has a coordinated look which is bright, dynamic, and appealing to the children (and parents) playing the game. The re-branding has been successful with the board game relaunching in many stores in North America and also internationally.
